Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Growing up she was influenced by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form dramatic performance. Ana began to learn how to sing and play music from an early age, along with her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. In addition to being a local performer and instructor, her love of music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
