Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer from flamenco. Since her teen years she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she explores genres including hip-hop, trap and soul. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being smooth, elegant and sharp while also having a bit of bite. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was released in 2018, which was critically and commercially successful. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, got an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as a Latin Grammy nod. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami is her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to be awarded both.
