Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her career began in the her twenties. Her role in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely famous. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she was on screen with Aamir. Her birthplace was in a Mumbai middle-class family and began to dance at a young age. She started acting when a youngster and struggled for a few years as the majority of her first films failed. She eventually found success and was one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. After her wedding, she took a brief absence from acting prior to returning. More recently she played in a crucial part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the struggles of women across India. Dixit was awarded eight Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honour in India. Her reputation also includes for social activism.
